Our Requirements for Hiring Registered Dietitians

At St. Grace Wellness Center, we are committed to providing the highest level of care, which is why we uphold strict requirements for hiring registered dietitians. Each of our dietitians must meet the following criteria:

1. Credentials & Licensure

  • Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

  • Hold a valid state licensure where applicable, ensuring compliance with all professional regulations.

2. Education & Training

  • Completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field from an accredited program.

  • Completion of a supervised practice program (dietetic internship) with a minimum of 1,200 hours of clinical, community, and food service experience.

3. Evidence-Based Approach

  • Commitment to providing evidence-based nutrition counseling, staying up to date with the latest research and best practices in the field.

4. Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical or counseling experience is preferred, with a focus on weight management, chronic disease prevention, or related specialties.

5. Exceptional Communication Skills

  • Ability to offer personalized, compassionate care with strong interpersonal skills to effectively support and motivate clients during video-based appointments.
